Questions & Answers
Do I need to commit to volunteering at every Monday Meet?
No, this does not need to be a weekly commitment. We are grateful for any volunteer frequency that works well with your schedule.
Can we prepare our donated meals in your kitchen?
No, donated meals must be fully prepared before your arrival. You are able to bring crock pots to keep food warm and are also able to use the oven and stove top for warming purposes.
I have a teenager that would like to volunteer alongside me. Can they join?
Yes, your teenager is welcome to volunteer alongside you. Please inform the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator so applicable paperwork can be completed.
I’ve never donated and served a meal before, but I am interested in forming a group to volunteer with me. Is there any way I can see how a donated and served meal works at Monday Meets?
Yes, please contact the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator to fill out the initial paperwork. Once this is completed, we can schedule a time for you to shadow current meal volunteers.
