How Our Programs Work Together
Monday Meets: The Heart of Hope Unexpected
Each week the single moms and children we serve gather for:
- A shared dinner
- Faith-based conversations and encouragement
- Faith-based children’s program for infant through eight-year-olds
- Bi-weekly diapers and wipe distribution
- Weekly gas cards
More than a weekly gathering – Monday Meets is a consistent community. It’s where relationships are formed, trust is built, and moms are reminded they belong.
Participation in Monday Meets opens the door to additional support programs – ensuring care is rooted in relationships.
Mentoring: One-on-One Support
- Consistent one-on-one encouragement
- Goal setting and accountability
- Guidance related to education, employment, parenting, faith, and personal growth
Mentors walk alongside moms – listening, encouraging, and helping them take intentional steps toward independence – while remaining connected to the broader Hope Unexpected community.
Individual & Group Counseling: Professional Support for Healing & Growth
Counseling supports:
- Emotional & mental health
- Healing from trauma & grief
- Parenting & family dynamics

This service works alongside mentoring and Monday Meets, ensuring moms receive both relational support and clinical care as part of a coordinated approach.
