Current Volunteer Opportunities
Both Locations
Mentor – Connects with mentee one time per week via phone or text message and one to two times per month in-person. We ask for a 6 month to one-year commitment from all mentors. The position does not require a specific schedule and can be coordinated directly between mentor and mentee.
Grand Rapids West Location
Monday Meets – Mondays from September – June
Help with meals from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM (serving & clean-up)
Help with childcare from 6 PM – 7:30 PM (0-3 year olds)
Monday Meets Meal Group Volunteers – Pre-making, serving and cleaning up of a meal for the moms and children we serve. Mondays from September – June from 5 PM – 6:45 PM
Byron Center Location
Monday Meets – Mondays from September – June

Prayer Team Member – Meets once a month to pray over specific needs for Hope Unexpected. Meeting time is TBD by group members.
